Winning the grand prize at the Women Founders Network Fast Pitch competition is a moment I’ll never forget. As the CEO of RxPost and a proud pharmacy technician, this recognition feels monumental—not just for me, but for every pharmacy and community I’m committed to uplifting. This award highlights a passion that’s fueled my journey from working behind pharmacy counters to building a platform aimed at making the industry more sustainable.
When I started RxPost, I knew I was taking on a massive challenge. I’d seen first-hand the mountains of perfectly usable medications going to waste because pharmacies, with their razor-thin margins, couldn’t afford to hold onto excess stock. Medications that could be saving lives were tossed in the trash, costing pharmacies—and our communities—millions. I knew there had to be a better way, and that’s what RxPost is all about: a marketplace where pharmacies can buy and sell their overstocked, in-date drugs to each other directly, transforming waste into revenue.
Standing on stage at the Fast Pitch competition, I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility—not just to RxPost, but to the thousands of community pharmacies that form the backbone of our healthcare system. It’s these neighborhood pharmacies that make healthcare personal, that know their patients by name, and that work tirelessly to keep medications affordable and accessible. RxPost was built with them in mind. I believe that by empowering pharmacies to operate more sustainably, we’re helping communities thrive.
Since launching, RxPost has grown to serve over 200 pharmacies in Southern California, with plans to expand nationally. Every new connection we make on the platform, every pharmacy that saves money or finds a needed medication, reaffirms why I started this journey. By turning unused stock into cash, RxPost enables pharmacies to reinvest in what matters most: providing quality care to their patients.
This win is more than a personal achievement; it’s a call to action. Community pharmacies have been struggling with over-ordering, tight margins, and growing pressures to do more with less. They deserve our attention and support. My mission with RxPost is to give them the tools they need to not only survive but to thrive. This award from the Women Founders Network is a powerful reminder that what we’re building matters—and that we’re just getting started.
Here’s to the next chapter of RxPost, to amplifying the voices of our community pharmacies, and to creating a more sustainable, efficient future for healthcare. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
