RxPost is excited to announce our new Corporate Partnership with the California Pharmacists Association. The mission of CPhA is to advance the practice of pharmacy for the promotion of health – a mission we wholeheartedly support!

As a Corporate Partner, RxPost is a member of the Corporate Advisory Council (CAC), an effective forum for corporate and association decision makers to convene and foster robust dialogues that broaden and strengthen shared priorities to further the pharmacy profession. Working together to align strategic initiatives, resources and advocacy efforts, the CAC educates, empowers and moves the profession forward.

RxPost was founded by Amantha Bagdon when, working within the independent pharmacy world, she saw a better way to help independent pharmacies be more successful.

For as long as she can remember, Amantha Bagdon had a love of science, math, and numbers. That love turned into a passion to become an innovative contributor in the healthcare industry. Majoring in pharmacology at University of California, San Diego gave her the path to combine her love of science with healthcare.

She quickly worked her way up in the independent pharmacy industry, becoming a certified, lead pharmacy technician, and due to her deep knowledge of the needs of the pharmacy business, ultimately becoming a reputable lead pharmacy services consultant in Southern California.

Amantha founded RxPost to give independent pharmacies multiple services to increase efficiencies that save them time and money, thus allowing them to focus more on exceptional patient centric services, as well as expansion of their offerings.

The RxPost network provides a web-based prescription fulfillment service for shared inventory management and delivery allowing independent pharmacies to sell small quantities of non-expired prescription drugs and purchase drugs in short supply to satisfy a specific patient need.

The RxPost team is currently busy behind the scenes working on a host of improvements to the web application that powers the platform to be released in August 2022. In addition to back end improvements that enhance security, efficiency, reliability and other functionality, users can expect many changes that will make the user experience better.

Some of the changes include:

  • Improved security and reliability to protect user accounts and prevent fraudulent activity
  • New User Interface for a better customer experience, both online and offline
  • Advanced drug data with MediSpan integration, Trusted by leading healthcare institutions
  • Suggested pricing based on WAC
  • Drug images and imprints for easier listing and reference
  • Shopping Cart functionality to allow checking out of multiple drugs at once
  • Announcements and Action Items to easily see any outstanding tasks that need to be completed
A sneak preview of the Marketplace in the RxPost new software release

“We are excited to release the new version so our independent pharmacy customers have the best experience buying or selling overstock medications, ” said Amantha Bagdon, Founder of RxPost. “Our focus has always been on helping independent pharmacies succeed, and this is just another example of our efforts to provide the best possible customer experience.”

Amantha added, “RxPost’s initial launch happened in the middle of COVID which has been difficult, but we know it has been even more difficult on the community pharmacies we serve. We are so fortunate to work with understanding and compassionate customers, so we’ve worked hard to take their feedback on RxPost and incorporate that into a better product to provide the service they deserve.”

The final touches for the new release are ongoing. More information on the release date will be coming soon.

Amantha’s vision is that as more and more pharmacies join the RxPost network, patients will recognize those pharmacies as those who will meet all their needs expeditiously with the highest quality customer service.
