The study also reveals that rural areas rely more on regional franchises and independent pharmacies, while chain pharmacies dominate urban areas. Moreover, it emphasizes the importance of community pharmacies in public health initiatives like COVID-19 vaccinations. Despite widespread access, transportation remains a significant factor affecting accessibility, particularly for individuals without reliable transportation or limited access to public transport. Policy changes and community efforts are necessary to address transportation challenges and ensure equitable access to healthcare, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
